Ever since humans could look at the sky above at nighttime, they could see the moon and the brilliant stars sprinkled all over the skies. The skies were so much better to look at back then without the contamination of all the lights in our modern society. And not to worry – there is still enough hydrogen to maintain the light and heat in the Sun for another 6 Billion years! The core of the Sun is estimated to be 28,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit! That is a lot of zeros…

In short, just think of the Sun and the Stars as a giant nuclear factory.
You wouldn’t know it but five or six centuries ago, scientists have been burnt at the stake for suggesting a heresy that the Sun was simply a star. We have come a long way since then. There are many kinds of Moon Star Tattoos. Some have Stars dangling from the crescent shaped phases of the Moon. Others have many pointed stars with the crescent shaped Moon in the center.
